My style is simple, I don't often use props or elaborate backdrops.  My goal is to capture that something in your child's personality that speaks to you as a parent.  My style during a session is very relaxed, and I don't often setup elaborate poses or give too many directions.  I like to let the personality of the subject dictate the flow of the session.

I have four young children of my own at home, so my shooting schedule is very structured and limited. This allows me to "be where I am."  When I am in a session with you, you can rest assured that I have not squeezed your appointment in for the day, I am in no hurry to finish the session, and there is no place else I'd rather be.

I am the Founder and past President of Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association, and a member of Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and The International Registry of Children's Photographers.

My studio has been featured on The Learning Channel's A Baby Story, and HBO Production's Photography Close-Up.  I'm also a featured photographer in the book "Professional Children's Portrait Photography:  Techniques and Images from Master Photographers", by Lou Jacobs, Jr., and a columnist in the upcoming magazine, Children's Photography Today.
